This is a leisurely and varied tour of Europe, which includes two wonderful cities of Eastern Europe, Prague and Budapest. Whether you are first time travellers to Europe or repeat visitors, you will all enjoy this great tour and with plenty of two night stays it has a more relaxed pace. After crossing the channel to Calais you will travel through Bruges to Brussels for your first night. Then on to Amsterdam and a visit to a fishing village where you will see how clogs and cheese are made. Cruise down the Rhine in Germany and stop at Nuremburg to see the massive town ramparts before continuing east to the Czech border. Travel through beautiful countryside and visit Pilsen, famous for its beer before heading to the ‘golden city’ of Prague. A local guide will introduce the 1,000 year old Prague Castle and St. Vitus’ Cathedral, before going to the Old Town Square with its Astronomical Clock. Travel through Slovakia to Bratislava, the capital, and then on to Budapest in Hungary for an in-depth sightseeing tour. On to Vienna for a waltz in the park and visit the amazing Schonbrunn Palace. In Italy there is plenty of time to enjoy Venice, Rome and Florence and all that these cities have to offer before heading to Switzerland and the magical city of Lucerne. Travel through the wine country of Burgundy to Paris for a fabulous two nights in this amazing city and a fitting end to a wonderful tour before heading back across the channel to London.
