This fifteen day tour of New Zealand will introduce you to some of the best sights in New Zealand. From the beautiful and majestic Milford Sound, in the Fiordland National Park to the geothermal area of Rotorua this trip will surprise and delight you. You will see the stunning Huka Falls and Taupo on route to Wellington and a visit to Te Papa, the Museum of New Zealand, an absolute must see! Try some wines in the Marlborough region famous for their sauvignon blancs before heading to Kaikoura and a little whale watching as an option before heading to Christchurch. Your hotel is right on Cathedral Square, close to all the attractions and with the Tram running right past your door. See the glacier Lakes of Tekapo and Pukaki before heading to the historic Dunedin and a visit to Larnach Castle. Now for the truly magnificent trip to Milford Sound, over the Devil’s Staircase, and see Mitre Peak and Bowen Falls, to mention a few. From there to Queenstown, the adventure capital of New Zealand, and don’t forget to try jetboating, it is great fun and the scenery is again amazing! From Queenstown over Haast Pass to the wild and dramatic West Coast and travel to Franz Josef Glacier, where you may be able to take a scenic flight or a glacier hike. Next up the coast to Hokitika and then on to Punakaiki and the Pancake Rocks. Enjoy some time out before travelling to Arthur’s Pass and the Tranz Alpine train across the Southern Alps to Christchurch. What a way to end this great trip!
