The Highlights of Europe tour is a very good one for the travellers who want to see what Europe has to offer. It has four - two night stays - which makes the tour more relaxing. You will also see the major tourist attractions in each country and it will give you a good idea of which places you would like to go back and visit later at your leisure. The tour departs London and heads across the Channel to Brussels then through Cologne and down the Rhine to the beautiful university city of Heidelberg. From there to Munich, and then to Salzburg, for Mozart and the Sound of Music. From there across to Venice for your first taste of Italy, through the Apennine Mountains to the hustle and bustle of Rome. After an exciting two night stay in Rome it is off to Florence for some more culture then through the Italian Lakes to Lucerne, a beautiful city in Switzerland. To Basel then into France through the Burgundy region to Paris. Enjoy the wonders of Paris before returning to London.
