Switzerland & Austria are two of the most picturesque countries within Europe and this tour offers every opportunity to capture those special moments for yourself. Drive along Lake Zurich, Lake Misurina & Lake Maggiore. Through alpine passes and pretty skiing villages all whilst visiting major attractions for for the region, Cortina d'Ampezzo, the Olympic ski resort in the heart of the Dolomites, the Matterhorn and the French ski resort of Chamonix in the shadow of Europe's highest mountain, Mont Blanc!
Journeying between Switzerland and Austria east bound will take you through Liechtenstein & its capital Vaduz, along the Arlberg route to Salzburg the city of Mozart's Birth and "The Sound of Music". Vienna sightseeing includes St.Stephen's Cathedral, the Hofburg, State Opera and Parliament. Innsbruck, encircled by the spectacular Alps, includes and orientation tour showing the Golden Roof, Wilten Basilica and Hofburg Palace. Once back in Switzerland we visit the winter sports resort of St. Moritz before a quick trip into Italy and back again. Lucerne is the last overnight stop before your departure and you'll have time to take in the Musegg Towers, and walls of the old town to Chapel Bridge and Lion Monument.
Scenic drives within these two countries are impressive from the Dolomite Mountains and Mont Blanc, to the Simplon Pass and the Italian Lakes District get your cameras ready.
