Honolulu is the capital city of the State of Hawaii and stretches along the south coast of the Island of O’ahu. Offering all of the amenities associated with the world’s large cities, Honolulu provides visitors with an amazing range of hotels and resorts, day and night time activities and a number of attractions. Add to this some of the local attractions such as the ‘Lolani Palace which is the only royal palace in the U.S.A., Queen Emma’s Summer Palace that is a historic landmark and museum, the Bishop’s Museum which displays the world’s greatest collection of natural and cultural Hawaiian artefacts, and Honolulu’s lighthouse the Aloha Tower, and it’s easy to see that Honolulu is not all just fun in the sun. For the more active why not explore around the nearby Diamond Head State Park that overlooks Waikiki Beach and offers fantastic views over the city, or even go shopping in any of the numerous malls which are scattered throughout Honolulu such as the Ala Moana Centre that is recognised as the world’s largest open air shopping centre.
