The brewery has been in the Maes family since 1856 and is the only working brewery in Bruges. It has moved with the times, changed its methods and types of beers through the years. In the 80's the family opened the doors to the public and the house brewery was born. The former bottling devices and maltery were arranged for visitors. It is well worth a visit even for non beer drinkers.
The opening times displayed are from April to October, during the cooler months from October to March, weekdays from 11am till 3pm, at weekends till 4pm.
