Hamilton Gardens covers an area of 58 hectares at the southern end of Hamilton, City. It is a public park owned and managed by the Hamlton City Council. It is the most popular visitor attraction in the region with about 600,00 visitors each year, nearly half of them being tourists. There are nearly 2000 events held within Hamilton Gardens each year. What makes these gardens different is the unique theme 'the story of gardens' which is explored through a series of five garden collections, the Paradise, Productive, Fantasy, Cultivar and Landscape Garden Collection. This is a delightful way to spend a few hours or the afternoon while in Hamilton. There is a Garden Cafe as well so you can enjoy a coffee or tea.
