Cadman's Cottage
Historical Building
Cadman's Cottage is recognised as the oldest residence in The Rocks area of Sydney and was constructed in 1816 to serve as the 'Coxswain's Barracks'. The cottage today houses the Sydney Harbour National Parks Information Centre. It is of great significance to the people of Sydney because it symbolises the evolution of Circular Quay and is one of the few remaining colonial buildings. Definitely worth a look as you stroll around The Rocks area of this beautiful city!
