What better way to see Canterbury than with an official city guide. You will learn the fascinating history of a cathedral city which boasts three World Heritage Sites and hear about the many famous people who have lived and worked here - Christopher Marlowe, Jane Austen, Charles Dickens, Somerset Maugham, Mary Tourtel (of Rupert Bear fame), Joseph Conrad, to name but a few.

The walking tour includes the Cathedral precincts, the historic King’s School, medieval lanes where pilgrims’ inns and weavers’ houses still stand, and many other interesting features of the city.

The daily walking tours are conducted in English, but pre-booked group tours are available in most European Languages.

Walks are available every day at 11:00 am for 1st October to 31st May 2011 (with the exception of 24th, 25th, 31st December 2010 and 1st January 2011. They take place twice daily at 11am and 2pm from 1st June to 30th September, 2011.
